Susan - I am a longtime reader, but I infrequently comment. I heart your & Chris’s blogs…Anyway, I do have a turkey question.
I think Chris listed somewhere (and I cant find it now) that Butterball turkeys are gluten free. Can you confirm? My friend just was diagnosed with celiac disease. I told her I thought butterballs were gluten free. Can you confirm? She is cooking Thanksgiving dinner. THANKS
Susan says: Keri, Butterball turkeys ARE gluten free; the frozen turkeys are injected with a saline solution, but it doesn’t contain any gluten. Your friend can also opt for a fresh Butterball, which contains no allergens at all.
ZOMG LOOK AT ME GO!
