whoops

Yes there was a post here earlier, all about turkey, with a photo and everything, but that wasn’t meant to be today’s post; that post is for later this week and is a contractually obligated piece of writing that I’m not allowed to actually post here.

Whoops!

I cooked a turkey breast tonight and invited my in-laws to dinner; despite the fact that the gravy was from a jar and the dressing from a bag, everything was delicious. Especially the turkey.

This was a Test Turkey; on Friday, I’ll be serving turkey to Charlie’s kindergarten class! A turkey I am going to COOK MYSELF, because why volunteer for the easy things like cookies when you can volunteer for the hard things like COOKING A TURKEY?!?

At least Charlie likes turkey.
