Go already.
You’ll find a great new cocktail, I’m sure. And the boys will be fine!

Holy cow- You won a trip to China???
Really??? WOW!!!
A trip to China, to see The Olympics? THE OLYMPICS???? WOW!!!
Fabulous.
You. Must. Go.
Send your boys to me- so I’m a total stranger with eight kids of my own (plus one more, for a bit) in California. Tell them it’s summer camp, they’ll just blend in!

I flew to Japan in 2001, didn’t walk around the plane (except to get up to pee), drank champagne all the way there (FREE! And in COACH!) ate AWESOME food and snacks and generally had a fantastic time. As I recall, we slept alot too, and woke up to the smell of the yummy food. And all that was before I even made it to Japan.
You will have a BLAST, this is an opportunity you might never get again so ENJOY it!!

I am IN Beijing right now, have been here for 4 months. Unfortunately (for me, as I’d love to meet you), we are leaving just prior to the Olympics and coming back just after (hubby’s company doesn’t want to pay per diem during that very expensive time).
ANYWAY. You will love it here. It does get warm and the air can be a little nasty, but then a beautiful day will dawn with blue skies and a nice breeze and make you fall in love with what is Beijing.
My brothers and their wives came to visit for 10 days. I was worried they would be overwhelmed and unhappy. They loved every minute.
Where are you staying? I can try and give you some tips if you want, or if I can!
Once you get on the plane all your worries will be replaced with excitement. It’s CHINA! It’s COOL! It’s the OLYMPICS!

Go. You will always remember the trip. Though it seems it is a long time to be without the boys it really isn’t.
Course easier said then done!
Enjoy.
