The rubberbands make loverly little designs on the eggs when you remove them. In never knew about this trick as a kid and I feel cheated.

This year we are done with this - I know the exhaustion involved, and this year I bought chocolate rabbits for each son and will put a variety of candy on the table.

My “kids” still insist on coloring eggs, even though my daughter is 21 and her brother is 16. This year we left them alone to do it while I baked cookies and Husband played freecell. The eggs turned out great.
