There is this to say: WWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad Henry hasn't had any meltdowns. I think telling him four times to put his shoes on is still somewhat age appropriate. Or maybe that's just what I tell myself to appease the screaming voices in my head since I do that with Bryce about ev-er-y-thing.

Okay, the deal with the yard is this:

1. We have Bermuda grass, which is IMPOSSIBLE to kill because it is a WEED. This works in our favor in summers like this.

2. I took this picture REALLY EARLY in the day (seriously, I think we were outside that day at 7:15 in the morning). That early, our yard is all shade. Come 3:00, not so much.

3. The shade (provided by our neighbors' lovely trees) makes the grass look greener than it is. Ironically, the grass would be dead if the yard were that shady all day; Bermuda needs lots of sun. And it gets it, believe me.

Henry is doing well--he's back to his usual happy, distractable, hyper self. No meltdowns since we stopped the meds, although I did have to ask him FOUR TIMES this morning to put his shoes on to go to the pool. Phew.

But at least he was nice about it!

The shade! Look at all the lovely shade in your yard. (Which probably accounts for the greenness of the grass, come to that.) I'd be frolicking, too, if I had that much shade, and even a blade of grass in my yard.

Frolic on, boys!
