When I was about six we had some Christmas windchimes which for some reason were hung inside the family room door. So everytime someone opened the door we would get a nice jingle sound. Anyway I was in bed and still awake. My mother had told me that if I was still awake when Santa arrived that he would not leave any presents. Next thing I hear a jingle and I was convinced that it was Santa on the roof!! I hid under the covers so he would not know I was still awake. I know I am very late to this post but I am working my way through your archives after coming from NotesfromtheTrenches and wanted to share my Santa story.
