just the normal dinner conversation

Wade: Ah, Charlie. He’s a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in . . . something else.

Me: A conundrum.

Charlie: No, in Playdough!

  1. oh so cute of him to chime in about playdough. a stroke of genius. what a sweetie he is.

  2. Tee hee!

  3. also, love the backyard playgym photo. Beautiful. We have exactly the same playgym except ours is indoors. We live in an old 2 storey victorian shop (and dwelling) in the central business district and we don’t have a backyard at all (very sad). the dwnstairs front shop room is a playroom with a sea of toys and a playgym as a cubbyhouse and it’s also my studio since I became a mum. Love your deep green lawn. we’ve been in drought for so many years that no one here is allowed to water the grass any longer. all the city fountains have been empty for about 4 or 5 years.

  4. I’m not seeing a photo. Why am I not seeing a photo? Don’t you blove me anymore, Susan?

Good thing he isn’t *really* wrapped in playdoh. That stuff’s a bitch to get out of hair.

(Word verification: vxnbum; yep, vixen bum.)

  5. Can everyone else see the photo? It’s across the top of the page, where the banner was? See what I get for trying to mess with my template myself . . .

  6. I see the picture! Is that YOUR backyard. It’s so clean. No toys, well except for the little fort thingie. No random legos that get carried outside and somehow don’t make it back in. I’m jealous!

  7. and very green grass.

  8. Can anyone tell me how to do the picture thingie at the top? GAH! I hate how my site looks. I can’t even upload a thingie on the right (the little picture next to my profile)

  9. Well, I suppose this is better than a riddle, wraped in an enigma, wrapped in vasiline, waterproof sunscreen, butter, cream cheese or mud. All of which as coated the body of my daughter at one time or another. Grrrrrr…

And yes, I can see the picture at the top…Me likey!

  10. Now the text from the banner is way down into the first post.

I tried using Explorer (I usually use Firefox) and got the same thing.

    Hmmm…I shall ponder this.

  11. I use Firefox, and it’s there, and it’s gorgeous! Gorgeous! The bright play thingy on the green grass and the dappled sunlight. Love it.

  12. Like the new logo! Need to get around to redesigning my site one of these days. Wish I had a nice FLAT backyard like you do.

  13. I can see the picture.
Very nice lawn, I am so jealous.

  14. Oooh, I like the new looky! I knew you could do it!!!

Thanks for the lovely email today. That was great!
