I grew up in a very active tornado area and they freaked me the heck out. Now I live in the Mid-Atlantic. We get hurricanes that we can prepare for. But we occassionally get tornadoes, and high winds freak me out. Our fire stations are volunteer, and they sound the alarm every time there's a fire. They went off this weekend, and it was windy, so I went searching for any tornado warnings. There weren't any, but I still kept looking out at the sky. I know...but it is what it is.
