I ask for so little

Standing on a street corner in San Francisco, chatting with another mommyblogger.

Her: I’m just really hoping that they don’t spend the weekend eating junk food and vegging in front of the television.

Me: I figure as long as no one goes to the ER, the whole trip is a success.

(Henry VERY SLIGHTLY burned two fingers in a camp fire incident. But no ER, so hooray for us!)

  1. Yes, any day without the ER is a good day.

  2. Home safe and sound. Life is good. No real injuries here either, no milk or TP in the house tho. I forgot to worry about those big purchases that happen when I’m out… came home to a new hot tub. Not that I’m complaining!

  3. Good perspective, Susan.

TV and junk food keeps ‘em out of trouble anyway. :)

  4. No broken bones! Whew - all is well, right?

  5. Hooray for no broken bones! We’ve been in Germany for twelve days with only three black eyes (among six kids) so far - we’re considering it a success but our hosts have posted clear directions to the nearby clinics by each door, so we’re not sure that they agree.

  6. Sounds suspiciously like my sister’s “if you ain’t gushin’, we ain’t rushin’” motto. lol

  7. Wow! You really can’t go away, can you!? Hope you enjoyed San Francisco. It’s beautiful there!
