When you think of all the qualified Republican women they could have picked it just boggles the mind. Condaleeza Rice, hello?? I never would have voted for McCain no matter who he chose but I'm glad that they did choose Palin, it definitely helped Obama in the end. My daughter's kindergarten teacher is named Mrs. Palen and P knew that a "Mrs Palin" was running for VP. I took her with me into the voting booth and when she saw that I was voting for Obama she loudly said, "Why aren't you going to vote for Mrs. Palin?" I had to tell her, "no dear, we're democrats."
