grace in small things: fifty three
Thanksgiving seems like the perfect day for a Grace in Small Things post, doesn’t it?
Today I am thankful for my family and friends (of course), for snow, for turkey, for fast WiFi, for comfortable shoes and a warm sweater dress. I’m thankful to be starting my day at the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line, and thankful that I will end it at home with my babies.
Your turn — what are you thankful for this year?

I would be super thankful for that awesome mug.
Canadian Thanksgiving is long past, but in general I just feel lucky for all I have. Today, I am thankful for a continued nice weather here in the arctic tundra.

My babies, of course. The face that my husband still has a job and we have a roof over our heads, no matter how modest. Our health. My amazing, amazing friends, with me through thick and thin. Friday Playdate. The “Glee” soundtrack. Coffee. The sky over the farmfields outside my back door. Running. Chocolate. The New Yorker, and reading it in bed on weekend evenings in my jammies. Did I mention my babies?
