Yay Adam!

But, would he stop and explain to me how it is that people can run an entire marathon with NO BODY FAT RESERVES? Because I would like to know. Specifically, I think my flabby buttocks that could never run a marathon would like to know.

The first two pictures are an hysterical contrast: Adam, with his lean marathon body, and Charlie, with those chubby lil chipmunk cheeks! Laugh out loud funny!

I think, were I running a marathon, that I would find it took too much breath to smile. Go, Adam!! (Good name, BTW)

One of the things we really miss is going to the Pittsburgh Marathon. It's an Olympic Qualifier, so you see some amazing runners. It used to go through our neighborhood and it was always fun to cheer people on up those enormous hills!

When I was in the army I would be amazed at the guys who would be running their X number of miles and would light up a cigarette for the last one. Mainly because I was waiting for the finish line to come so I could barf.

I was not a good runner. But Adam looks like he is. What a nice guy to take the time to talk to your kids. Go Adam! And Charlie really is incredibly cute.

This is inspitational, I am training to run a half marathon with Kara and I needed this blog this morning. I want to be able to smile at the end of 13 miles, right now I stop smiling at 2.5 miles.
