Have I mentioned that although it is in the 20s and 30s in the a.m.'s here in MN (and in the 40s for highs in the afternoon), I keep refusing to wear socks? I'm in weather denial. Although yesterday when I took the girls out for a walk and it was 34 degrees, I did wear socks and running shoes with my jeans and parka and mittens. Yes, yes I did.

I've eyed those shoes several times at DSW this season. Very cute on. And I'm with Chris, it's freezing here. Not that I am complaining, except all of a sudden all my flats are requiring socks, and I'm discovering that my socks all have holes. Sigh.

I simply adore those shoes. It's warm here too. Around 65 degrees.

I too am from TX and will admit that we do not build a building without climate control. We even go as far as trying to control the outdoors with these little mister water fan things...and they work.
We must look silly from the air...we get out of out cars with AC and we RUN to the building with AC and then we RUN back to our cars. If this gobal warming thing is true, The South will be the first to go.
