did someone mention drinks?
It’s Tuesday, and I have a man here replacing my hot water heater (FINALLY!) which means that the water is turned off, which is a bummer because I never got a shower this morning and I really REALLY want to brush my teeth. Also we’re out of groceries but I don’t think he’s going to be done in time for me to go get food before I have to go get the boys.
Don’t you wish you were here to hang with me? Especially now that you know I need to brush my teeth.
In lieu of that, how about you go take a survey for me? The incredibly nice people at BlogAds want to know a little more about you all. I know, I know, but really, it’s fun! There’s even a section about drinks! Or so they tell me.

Someone told me that Happy Meals account for 40% of McDonald’s sales. Some, I suspect, for this very reason.

I took that survey. And boy is it long! But there was a whole section on drinks and what you prefer to drink. Which would have been more fun if I liked anything!

Hey, I was on TELEVISION (New York One, no less!) one morning after emerging from my apartment building looking mighty sticky and smelling gross. An enormous water main had broken on First Ave and the freshly groomed newsman wanted to interview those of us who suffered the consequences.
And so, that evening, yours truly gave the quote of the night, “I went to the bathroom and couldn’t flush. That was quite a surprise!”
