a gesture of respect
Have you seen the Kirtsy book? Well run out and find one now, because it’s beautiful and inspiring and uplifting and … well, and fabulous. Of course.
And also because I’m in it! Hooray!
I’m a little overwrought this week, for a bunch of complicated reasons, but this morning, when I saw the live site for the book and watched Katherine Center’s beautiful trailer, I got all teary, like had to go find a box of tissues teary, because I am so proud to be part of this book, of this whole idea. The voices in this book are remarkable and powerful and beautiful and they deserve to be heard and celebrated.
And now they are.
Congratulations to Laura Mayes, who edited the book, and to the Kirtsy chicks, who made it all possible. And thank you, for putting this together and for including my voice.

Wow! I’m so glad I clicked on that video before I started my day! And now, I need to try to figure out a way I can get to the Kirtsy book party here tomorrow… Cub Scout meeting be damned!

Susan, you inspire me more than you could possibly know - I’m so thankful to be able to watch you soar!
This is well-deserved and I hope you bask in it’s happy glow.
