Last week, Danielle, Heather and I — and some of our favorite people from the Internet — spent an afternoon hanging out at Sparrow Hair in Chicago. I had my hair cut and colored, and Susan and Sheba, the salon owners served wine and cheese — but even better, we gave away two hair makeovers, because good hair makes the world a better place.

Susan and Sheba — the brains and talent behind Sparrow Hair — are fantastic; they asked all the right questions and listened and were clear about what they were going to do. And they’re also funny and stylish, which really puts a girl at ease. Especially when you’re in for cut and color. (more…)
